"Intentional"

If asked to describe Kaleb and Beth's wedding in one word I would choose "intentional". Their intimate country wedding was full of beautiful details that were meaningful to not only them as a couple, but carried the traditions of generations before them. From the something borrowed, to the quaint white church where they said "I do", each element paid homage to the weddings of yesteryear. Weddings where brides wore family jewels, couples were married in small churches and everyone in attendance was a close friend or family member. I have never considered myself "traditional" and typically I enjoy the ever changing wedding trends, but reflecting on their wedding day and how intentional and meaningful of an experience it was, I now see why many of these traditions have stood the test of time!

Complimenting Beth's beautiful pastel palette, lace dress and cathedral veil were pieces of jewelry from some of her nearest and dearest.

Something Old - Grandmothers diamond ring

Something New - Blue dangle earrings (to compliment her something blue)

Something Borrowed - Diamond bracelet, borrowed from her dear friend Kayla

Something Blue - Perhaps the most meaningful piece of the day, Beth's something blue came from her late, Great Aunt Carle, who unfortunately passed just a few months before the wedding.

Photographing all of these pieces, knowing they carried such meaning for Beth, felt like an honor.

Ceremony Details

Kaleb and Beth were married at the Milligan Cove Christian Church of Manns Choice, Pennsylvania. The little white church on the hill, was built in 1870 and overlooks the farmlands formerly owned by Beth's great grandparents! Beth's parents and grandparents were all married in this same church, so the tradition continues for another generation!

Their wedding was officiated by Kaleb's brother, Zack Mickle and you would have never known it was his first wedding! Zack, I think you have found your calling! Their intimate, Christ centered ceremony was a pleasure to witness, as the love they have for each other could be felt in all corners of the room. The joy on the faces of friends and family spoke to how special of a couple they truly are!
